Get to Know Laura
Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved interior design. I enjoyed rearranging spaces, playing with colours and decorating my own dolls house, dreaming of the day I had my own house. Today, turning that passion into my own design business has been a dream come true and I feel so grateful every day to wake up, create beautiful spaces and do what I love.
I started this business because after 12 years in education as primary school teacher and then working within the show home industry, I wanted to design real homes, for real people, where personality, warmth and everyday life could shine through. Stepping into residential design felt like the natural path as it gave me the freedom to create with authenticity and heart, and to help others truly fall in love with their homes. In 2023 I made the decision that I wanted to have my own interior design company and therefore embarked on Laura Clark Interior Design after graduating from Jo Chrobak's Interior Design Business School at the beginning of 2024.
What drives me is seeing that spark in my clients’ eyes and the excitement of possibility when they realise what their home could become. I live and breathe interiors. Inspiration is everywhere for me: in fabrics, textures, colours and the smallest details that bring a space to life.
My background in show home styling has taught me the power of finishing touches and how thoughtful styling can transform a room. But more than anything, I believe your home should be your sanctuary. A space that reflects who you are, that feels safe, joyful and deeply personal. It should feel just right, layered with colour, texture and a story and somewhere to make memories in.
I look forward to working with you on your project, whether remotely implementing one of the Virtual Design packages or in person. Get in touch to see how Laura Clark Interior Design can help you create the story of your own home.
